Are your bamboo zippies made in the USA?

Our bamboo zips are designed with love in the midwest, but they are currently manufactured overseas. As a small, mama-run business, we've searched high and low for a U.S.-based manufacturer that meets our quality and fabric needs — but so far, we haven’t been able to find one that works for us.

We've partnered with an overseas manufacturer we trust to produce our cozy, high-quality bamboo zips with care and integrity. Every style is intentionally created and quality-checked before it ever reaches your hands.

Our heart is to always be transparent, and we pray one day we can bring 100% of production to the US. Until then, we're committed to offering pieces that are safe, soft and full of purpose — for the babies you're raising with love and truth.
What material are your zippies made of?

Our bamboo zippies are made from 95% bamboo viscose and 5% spandex for a buttery-soft feel, stretch, and durability.

How should I care for my bamboo zippies?

To keep your bamboo zippies soft and looking their best:

  • Wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors
  • Use mild, baby-safe detergent (no bleach or fabric softener)
  • Turn inside out to protect the fabric and prints
  • Lay flat or hang to dry for best results (or tumble dry low if needed)
  • Avoid high heat to prevent shrinking and preserve fabric softness
How do your zippies fit?

Our bamboo zippies are meant to be a snug fit for both safety and comfort.

Review our manufacturer's size chart on the product page as a starting point. If your little one is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for longer wear.

Note: From our own family’s experience, we’ve comfortably stretched wear through two to three sizes. For example, a 0–3M zippie lasted us from about 3 months all the way to 7–8 months. Our rule of thumb is to always size up unless it is a seasonal/special occasion print. 🤍
When will my order ship?

Orders are typically processed within 2-5 business days. Preorders or custom items may have longer processing times, which will be noted in the product description.

Not at this time—but it’s something we’re prayerfully planning for in the future! We’d love to see Cozy Prairie pieces in like-hearted boutiques someday.
